About the Opportunity:
Join the European Space Agency’s dynamic team in an internship role focused on the economic analysis and characterization of space SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises). This position plays a crucial role in the elaboration and implementation of ESA’s industrial policy, with a specific focus on mapping and characterising the European space SME community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct statistical analyses of the economic and financial characteristics of European space SMEs.
- Utilise a variety of ESA’s data sources, including programmatic, financial, and economic data.
- Contribute to the establishment of a comprehensive database of relevant economic and financial characteristics of the space SME community.
- Engage in in-depth studies of industrial policy relevance using the available data.
- Collaborate closely with the SME Office and other services of the Department.
Requirements:
- Passion for the space industry and economic analysis.
- Ability to handle confidential information (a non-disclosure agreement may be required).
- Willingness to align your research interests with the scope of the internship.
