As a not for profit private research organisation, SME4SPACE is committed not only to achieve its aims and to support SMEs in Europe’s space industry, but also to create and favour an inclusive and fair ecosystem for companies in Europe and for its employees and collaborators within SME4SPACE itself.
To this purpose, by decision of SME4SPACE Board of Directors, SME4SPACE drafted and intends to implement a Gender Equality Plan (GEP) to be reviewed every three year with a yearly report to be published on SME4SPACE website.
For the first three year period (2022-2025), the following objectives have been defined following the SMART (Specific, Measureable, Achievable, Realistic, Traceable) approach:
- better sex/gender staff representation trying to bring it around the 50% (current situation is 60% men and 40% women);
- increase the number of the women representation in the Board of Directors at least of 2 Directors by the end of 2025 (current situation is 5 Board Members 100% men).
