The recent conflict in Ukraine and the ensuing sanctions disrupted the space ecosystem where the space entities are again facing a crisis. Both ESA and the European Commission reached out to SME4SPACE and want to further discuss how to cope with this crisis and how to support the SMEs in the European space industry.
The present questionnaire aims at gathering views and better assess the actual situation of the SMEs in the space sector in Europe. Are ongoing projects suspended or cancelled? Is the cancellation of flight opportunities impacting your schedules? Do you have new problems in your supply chain caused by the military conflict or by the sanctions or by price increases of critical items?
Based on your replies, specific actions, and concrete measures will be addressed to ESA, the EC and the national authorities.
